Slug damage often appears suddenly, with young leaves, seedlings and fresh shoots being heavily affected in a very short time. Protecta Slug Barrier works differently from slug pellets that kill: it creates a protective ring of shell granules around plants, encouraging slugs and snails to avoid these areas. Its abrasive texture forms a physical barrier that they are reluctant to cross.

This type of barrier is especially suitable for gardens where children and pets are present, or when you prefer not to use poisons near vegetables, herbs and ornamental plants. The product is also rain-resistant, providing longer-lasting protection even in changeable weather conditions.

Directions for use
Apply Protecta Slug Barrier as a continuous ring around the plants you want to protect, or along the edge of a border or bed. Make sure the ring remains unbroken, as slugs and snails will immediately look for gaps in the barrier. After heavy rain, watering or strong plant growth, check whether the barrier is still intact and refill where necessary.

Storage advice
Store the packaging in a dry place and keep it tightly closed. Prevent the product from becoming wet inside the bag for a prolonged period, so that it remains easy to spread. Reseal the packaging immediately after use.
