Stopmite Bird works in two complementary ways:

1. Insect-repellent environment
   The essential oils are excreted through the skin, respiratory system, and droppings. The characteristic scent of the birds, their droppings, and the nest helps create an environment that repels insects.

2. Ammonia neutralisation
   The clay present in Stopmite Bird absorbs and neutralises ammonia from droppings. This makes the air in cages and aviaries less irritating, drier, and fresher.

This results in a healthier living environment and improves the overall well-being of the birds.

Use & Dosage

Via feed – standard use

• 25 g (1 to 2 tablespoons) per kg of feed

In combination with the COMED BIG 5

• 1 tablespoon per kg of feed

Course use

• 15 g (1 tablespoon) per kg of feed for 2 weeks

Maintenance dosage

• 15 g per kg of feed, twice per week

Application in cages or aviaries

• Sprinkle a thin layer of powder daily on the floor

• After cleaning the cage or aviary, a layer of powder can be applied to quickly dry droppings and keep the environment healthy
