Aves Opfok 200g

Aves Opfok is a high-quality premix for preparing a complete, fresh egg-based rearing food for seed-eating birds such as canaries, European songbirds, finches, budgerigars, lovebirds, large parakeets and parrots.
The carefully formulated composition provides all essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements required for optimal growth, development and condition during breeding, rearing and moulting.

Instructions for Use

Basic recipe (small quantity):

• Mix

  • 3 rusks (± 30 g) or

  • 8 measuring scoops of rusk meal or

  • 40 g dried bread
    with

  • 1 measuring scoop Aves Opfok (5 g)

• Add 1 boiled (7 minutes), peeled egg (± 60 g)

• Blend thoroughly in a mixer

• Allow to cool and store in the refrigerator

Larger quantities:

• Mix rusk meal with Aves Opfok

• Add peeled eggs finely chopped with an egg slicer

• Mix thoroughly using a hand mixer

Freshness:

• Feed prepared with rusk meal: prepare fresh once per week

• Feed prepared with bread: prepare fresh twice per week

Feeding Advice

• Breeding birds: from 2 weeks before pairing (or before the first egg) until the chicks are transferred

• Adult birds: during the moulting period

• Young birds: from hatching until the juvenile moult is completed
