Product Description

Panta-20® is a liquid supplementary feed for racing pigeons, ornamental birds and poultry. It contains a concentrated and nutritionally balanced combination of essential amino acids, vitamins and L-carnitine, contributing to optimal condition, a well-functioning metabolism and a strong immune system.

Composition and Mode of Action

Panta-20® provides a broad spectrum of essential and non-essential amino acids, including alanine, arginine, cysteine, histidine, leucine, lysine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan and valine. These amino acids are indispensable for smooth metabolic processes and balanced protein synthesis.

In particular cysteine, glutamic acid, glycine and methionine play an important role in supporting the immune system, among other things through their involvement in the formation of antibodies and immunoglobulins. Glutamic acid also supports the activity of the body’s own hormonal system.

Panta-20® additionally contains B-complex vitamins, which are essential for energy release, carbohydrate and protein metabolism, and the formation of red blood cells (vitamin B12).

The added L-carnitine supports the transport and oxidation of fatty acids and contributes to the conversion of certain amino acids into glucose. L-carnitine is also associated with an immune-supporting effect.

Use and Dosage per Species

Racing Pigeons

Dosage

• 2–3 ml per litre of drinking water

Tip: Mix the appropriate dose with a small amount of Fru-tin-fluid® and add it to the grain feed. This ensures good intake and keeps the drinking water clean.

Breeding

• Administer daily for 10 days prior to pairing

• During the nestling period: twice per week

Racing Season

• Administer on the day of return and the following day

• Adjust the dosage according to the strain of the flight

• Administration on the day before the flight is recommended

• In hot weather: may also be administered early in the morning on the day of the flight

• On the day of the flight, administer only via feed (spray bottle) to ensure sufficient intake of clean drinking water

Moulting

• Administer daily at approx. 2 ml per litre of drinking water throughout the entire moulting period

After Antibiotic Treatment

• Administer for a minimum of 5 days

Before and After Exhibitions

• Administer for a minimum of 5 days

Ornamental Birds

Dosage via Drinking Water

• 2–3 ml per litre of drinking water

• Drinking vessels must be cleaned daily when administered via drinking water

Dosage via Feed

• Administration via feed using the 100 ml spray bottle

• 1 spray = 0.1 ml, sufficient for 1–3 birds per day
  (e.g. 1 spray for a budgerigar, 3 sprays for an African grey parrot)

Breeding

• Preparation phase: at least 3 times per week, starting approx. 6 weeks before egg laying

• During the laying period: daily until the last egg is laid

• Do not administer during incubation

• Avoid administration immediately after hatching to prevent brood overlap

• From approx. 7 days of age: twice per week

• Weaned young birds: at least twice per week to support growth and immunity

Moulting

• Administer daily 2–3 ml per litre of drinking water throughout the entire moulting period

After Antibiotic Treatment

• Administer for 7 days

Before and After Exhibitions

• Administer for a minimum of 5 days

Poultry

Panta-20® helps prevent deficiencies of essential amino acids and supports a properly functioning protein metabolism.

Breeding

• Parent stock: preferably daily, at least twice per week

• Dosage:

  • Daily 1 ml per litre of drinking water, or

  • 2–3 ml per litre when administered twice per week

Rearing Young Animals

• From the second week of life: twice per week 2 ml per litre of drinking water

Moulting

• Daily 1–2 ml per litre of drinking water

After Antibiotic Treatment

• Minimum 5 days, 2 ml per litre of drinking water

Before and After Exhibitions

• Administer for a minimum of 5 days
