Product Description

Fru-tin-fluid® is a liquid supplementary feed for ornamental birds and flying pigeons. The product is known for its strong binding capacity, permanently attaching powdered supplements to grain, germ, soft or rearing feed through curing.

Thanks to this binding effect, Fru-tin-fluid® ensures uniform intake of supplements, reduces nutrient losses and makes feed preparation more flexible and efficient.

Composition and Mode of Action

Fru-tin-fluid® contains various sugars of biological origin, which serve as an essential energy source for beneficial micro-organisms such as lactic acid bacteria (lactobacilli). Under favourable nutritional conditions, these bacteria can multiply more effectively in the small intestine.

Trials have shown that lactic acid bacteria can multiply 100 to 1000 times more when administered in combination with Fru-tin-fluid® and re-scha® Tarsin.
In addition, Fru-tin-fluid® contains chicory powder with inulin, a prebiotic nutrient that can only be metabolised efficiently in the presence of lactic acid bacteria.

Due to its high carbohydrate content, Fru-tin-fluid® provides additional energy, which is particularly beneficial during:

• breeding,

• racing season,

• moulting.

Fru-tin-fluid® also contains a mixture of tropical and domestic fruits (including pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, currant, papaya and peach), contributing to a more varied diet and a broad supply of natural nutrients.

The addition of calcium gluconate supports the mineral supply thanks to its good bioavailability.

Application and Use

Fru-tin-fluid® can be used year-round and is also suitable for long-term use.

The product is the ideal binding agent for re-scha® lactic acid bacteria (such as Ac-i-prim®). When lactic acid bacteria are bound to grain feed using Fru-tin-fluid®, they remain viable for at least 5 days, even at room temperature.

Standard Mixing Instructions

1. Weigh the amount of feed required for one or several days.

2. Add the appropriate amount of Fru-tin-fluid® and mix until the feed is slightly moist.

3. Add the desired powdered supplements (e.g. Tarsin, Frucht-mash, Immun-o-flash®, Poly-min).

4. Mix thoroughly (using two containers if possible, by repeatedly transferring the feed).

5. Feed immediately or allow to dry at room temperature for one day.

Specific Use with Lactic Acid Bacteria (Ac-i-prim®)

• First mix Fru-tin-fluid® separately with the lactic acid bacteria to form a uniform slurry.

• If necessary, add a few drops of water to improve consistency.

• Mix the slurry into the feed, then add any additional powdered supplements.

Dosage

• Grain or germ feed: approx. 8–20 ml Fru-tin-fluid® per kg of feed

• Soft or rearing feed: approx. 20 ml Fru-tin-fluid® per kg of feed

• If the mixture is too dry, the dosage can be increased.

• 1 tablespoon ≈ 8–10 ml Fru-tin-fluid®

Storage & Important Information

• Fru-tin-fluid® is manufactured under sterile conditions

• Always pour the liquid directly from the bottle (do not draw it out with a syringe)

• If the bottle neck becomes sticky, clean with a damp cloth

• Store refrigerated after opening

• Use within 6 months after opening
