In 2010, Dr. Vincent Schroeder (Schroeder Pigeon Products) and Johannes Jakobs (Tollisan) joined forces and founded Vet. Schroeder-Tollisan B.V. in Kerkrade (Netherlands). The practice of Dr. Schroeder in Belgium is also maintained.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Dr. Vincent Schroeder is a pigeon breeder by nature and played successfully on the long distance with his father (\u2020 2016). In 1994 he started his studies at the University of Li\u00e8ge and in 2000 he obtained his diploma as a veterinarian. Subsequently, he worked for two years in a laboratory for veterinarians, where he gained important experience in dealing with the various laboratory techniques in terms of bacteriology and mycology. In 2002, he started working with veterinarian Dr. Peeters in Belgium; a period in which he gained an enormous amount of knowledge about the care of racing pigeons. In 2006 he started his own veterinary practice in Belgium, where he still works today.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Johannes Jakobs also comes from a pigeon family. His grandfather already let pigeons fly to Budapest and his father played in St. P\u00f6lten. In the past 10 years, Johannes Jakobs has become one of the strongest players in the pigeon sport of Germany. Extraordinary successes in one of the largest regional associations in Germany (Regio Verband Aachen-Land 415) brought him great fame. He is a bank clerk by profession and has worked in the field in the pharmaceutical industry for almost 15 years.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
In 2001 he took over Tollisan and became active in the racing pigeon sport. He sold, among other things, Dosto-Oregano products and PS Prange Soep, which were steps in developing the Tollisan brand. In the past two years, both companies have become so closely connected that they no longer wanted to keep the name separate.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
